GAIN SKILLS FAST TO BECOME THE LEADER YOU WERE MEANT TO BE.

As the only program of it’s kind in Alabama, the 3+1 program at Spring Hill College offers students the degrees needed to be successful in the business world today.

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York says a bachelor’s returns 15% on the investment – better than the stock market. And, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics states the weekly median salary is 16% higher for workers with a master’s degree compared to a bachelor’s degree. So, the investment in a college degree can pay off.

It takes two years beyond the undergraduate degree to earn the master degree. Now, you can save up to 2 years on the time – and cost – it takes to earn a master’s degree.

The 3+1 Business Degree is a selective program offered at Spring Hill College to highly motivated incoming freshmen and transfer students. It allows the completion of a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree in just 4 years.

ABOUT SPRING HILL COLLEGE

Spring Hill College, Alabama’s oldest institution of higher learning, was founded in 1830 by Michael Portier, Mobile’s first Catholic bishop. Spring Hill is also the first Catholic college in the Southeast, the third oldest Jesuit college and the fifth oldest Catholic college in the United States.

Spring Hill College Mission Statement
Rooted in its Catholic heritage and continuing the centuries-old Jesuit tradition of educational excellence, Spring Hill College forms students to become responsible leaders in service to others.

We offer our students a thorough preparation for professional excellence; and we strive to awaken mind and spirit to the pursuit of truth and to the ever-deepening appreciation of the beauty of creation, the dignity of life, the demands of justice and the mystery of God’s love.

In our community of living and learning, we are committed to the Jesuit tradition of “cura personalis,” that is, a care for the spiritual, social and intellectual growth of each person.

Through informed dialogue with the world’s cultures, religions and peoples, we promote solidarity with the entire human family.

And true to the Catholic and Biblical tradition, we nurture both the personal and social dimensions of faith, seeking to draw our students into a deeper and more vital relationship with God.

Spring Hill College Compelling Focus
The people of Spring Hill College, in community, work together to nurture learning for body, mind and spirit. We take the time and make the effort to teach and act with justice, with care and in the service of others.

YOUR SHC FACULTY

Spring Hill faculty have experience in the disciplines they teach, so they can guide students to transform academic theory into key skills that can be applied to today’s job markets. Our faculty are selected on the strength of their credentials, overall experience, commitment to Christian education and willingness to be accessible to students and support the collaborative academic environment important to hands-on learning.

So it’s an extension of Spring Hill College’s mission to provide an education to our students but also its mission to improve the lives of others.
